<div dir="auto">Hi all,</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Just to keep you posted, the letter to hand out to performers will be ready in the next couple of days. I will leave a pile of them behind the counter. This will explain about rehearsals, the show and purchasing tickets. Could you make sure your pupils know which show they are in. I have put up all the stage/pupil sheets in the room next to the store cupboard. Could you fill in the names of your pupils, which instrument and which show.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Please could you also make sure any of your pupils under 16 have filled in a parental permission form. If we don’t have their details and they are not signed by a parent then they can’t be in the show. These forms are also behind the counter.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Could you also please make sure that you only take a copy of the chord sheets in the folder behind the counter and don’t take the originals. Who ever took the only copy of Johnny B Goode could you replace it please.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Finally can you just double check and make sure all the songs you have chosen/been allocated have been filled. Obviously I would love to have different performers for each show but seeing as it’s only a few weeks to rehearsals now, if there are any gaps could you ask pupils playing if they would be happy to cover any other shows which haven’t been filled. Under 16’s can only perform in 2 shows. I started preparing the show in May which is when the songs were first chosen and allocated so was hoping that pupils wouldn’t have to be involved in more than one show, however I do understand that pupils leave/change their minds etc... </div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">The YMS Festival 2 years ago was a great success. Comments from parents, pupils and teachers were amazing! I know teachers gained pupils from the event. It’s also an amazing experience for your pupils to be involved in playing/singing in a live band. That’s why they are learning. I’m sure this year the YMS Festival will be just as amazing!</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Thank you for all your help. It really is appreciated.</div><div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">Roy </div>
