If any of us know a competent keyboard player that can assist this local band, please pass on the details. Ability is not their main focus, it's about being right for their interests in music (set list sample mentioned below) My knowledge of Peter is that their enjoyment and love of music is the priority. Any age wold be OK, but the band are probably aged 40-60 ish.

Hello James,

Happy New Year to you.

As per our chat before Xmas Northern Beauty would be interested in finding a keyboard player to join us for gigs, recording and rehearsals.

As discussed we are not looking for a technical player or great soloist but rather someone who can add some organ washes and simple riffs to our sound.

We play covers and originals.  The covers include 60’s stuff like We Gotta Get Outta This Place by the Animals, 70’s stuff like The Seeker by The Who, and a couple of 90’s tunes like Half The World Away by Oasis.

If you put ‘Northern Beauty Band’ into Facebook you can find us doing a recent video version of Bad Moon Rising by Creedence Clearwater Revival which gives an accurate account of how we sound.

We rehearse once a week on Tuesday evenings in Canterbury and try to gig about once a month.

If there is anyone at your music school looking to join a band we’d be happy to hear from them.
