Hi all!

Hope you had a good Easter!

Here is a list of all the songs for the YMS Festival 2018 on Sunday 28th
October:

1: In The Mood - Glenn Miller (Wind Band) 40’s
2: Johnny B Goode - Chuck Berry 50’s
3: Hey Jude - The Beatles 60’s
4: Rescue Me - Fontella Bass 60’s
5: December 63 (Oh What A Night) - Franki Valli 70’s
6: Here I Go Again ‘87 - Whitesnake 80’s
7: 9 to 5 - Dolly Parton 80’s
8: Stop - Spice Girls 90’s
9: Crazy - Beyoncé 00’s
10: Still Into You - Paramore 10’s
11: Can’t Stop The Feeling - Justin Timberlake 10’s

I will contact each teacher to allocate the songs out. Each pupil taking
part will need to be in 2 songs to keep performers numbers down. We can
only have a maximum of 50 performers per show. This will consist of:
10 Vocalists
5 Drummers
10 Keyboardists
5 Bass/Keys Bass
10 Wind/Brass
10 Guitarists

There will be also be space for a couple of solo/duo acts as people come in
and in the middle of the set for each performance. Please let me know if
any of your performers in the show would also be up for a solo/duo song.

I will try to catch up with everyone ASAP to allocate songs so you know how
many pupils you need to find and what they are doing.

IMPORANT - Please tell any pupils involved in the show their  family can
only buy 2 tickets at first. Tickets will be available online from the
Marlowe theatre via a link. I will send this link once I have it. Once
everyone has had chance to buy 2 tickets then any remaining will be on sale
4 weeks before the event. I will confirm this date.
